Topic:Boating

After trying to make up my mind about which topic I will be blogging about I have picked boating.  My husband has just bought our first boat and I know nothing about them.  We are going to take our first boating adventure this Sunday.  I have a lot to learn before then:o)


I am attaching a video of my daughter Claire teaching me how to get in and out of the boat.

    So cute! Was that video taken from a regular video camera and you were able to download it into your blog? My husband has been wanting a boat for such a long time, but I'm still resisting. I enjoy being out on the boat, but when I'm in the water, I always wonder....what is under me?

    My husband took the video of Claire on his iphone. We have only had our iphones for a few months so I thought that I could just plug the phone into my computer and I could upload it from there. I was not able to do it that way so I just emailed it to myself and then loaded it onto my blog. We took the boat out on Allatoona Lake for our first adventure yesterday.

    This really makes me home sick for Kentucky. I grew up near Lake Cumberland and we used to go almost every weekend. My dad was never a "water" person but he traded a car for a boat once and we had so much fun during the summer. You guys will have a blast.

    I am from Louisville, KY. What a small world. Todd's parents live by Kentucky Lake and he can't wait to take to boat there this summer. I'm sure we will boat on Lake Cumberland sometime in the future:o)
